BLACK BELT GRADING
If you are a green belt or above you need to ensure that you are informed about when you can sign up for the Black belt programme. The details have been handed out and posted on the notice board as well as on the web. If you have not already registered on the website for the blogs or Facebook please do so as it will help update your information.
A colour belt who intends to grade for their black belt has to have the application form completed and submitted 9 months in advance. Please note that 1st degree gradings are done twice a year in May and November whereas 2nd degree is done only in November.
SUMMER TERM
The Term is first week of July to end of September
The Classes are as follows:
Monday 6.00 to 7.00 Sparring, grappling and pad work for junior students, all grades
7.00 to 8.00 Forms, step sparring for all grades
8.00 to 9.00 Sparring, grappling and full range for Teens and Adults, all grades
Wed 6.00 to 7.00 Sparring, grappling and pad work for junior students, all grades.
7.00 to 8.00 Forms, step sparring for all grades
8.00 to 9.00 Sparring, grappling and full range Teens and Adults, all grades
Any student who trains during the summer months and is eligible for a grading at the end of that term will be graded in September.
Any student training for their black belt in November will need to attend 4 classes a week for the summer and 5 classes from September onwards.
REGISTRATION FOR AUTUMN TERM
All current students will need to register on the 4 days indicated below so classes and times can be allocated for your new autumn term. The days are as follows:
Saturday September 5th 11.00 to 12.30 There will be no training on this day
Sunday September 6th 11.00 to 12.30 There will be no training on this day
Saturday September 12th 11.00 to 12.30 There will be training on this day
Sunday September 13th 11.00 to 12.30 There will training on this day for students grading, all colours and levels.
Watch out for the new training details for the coming season which will be posted on the website notice board and on the information rack behind the front desk.
