Due to the Bank Holiday, there will be no classes on Sunday or Monday. Training resumes as normal on Wednesday.
Congratulations to all of the candidates who graded this weekend. You did yourselves and your club proud!! We are delighted to welcome 4 of our junior members to the rank of Black belt!! Mr Bailey Mills, Ms Alex Healy, Mr Ben O'Sullivan and Mr. Matt Moroney. Missing are our 2nd degree candidates Ms Tara Fitzgerald and Mr James Dineen but we will have plenty more pics to share shortly. We will be presenting our new Black belts and giving a brief demonstration this evening (Monday) just before the 7pm class. If people could please gather in the main hall by 6:55pm. Thanks.  We've made a small correction to our APR/MAY/JUN events schedule. The summer party is indeed on the 20th of June but that's a Saturday, not a Sunday. We'll have more information on the party in the coming weeks.  We wish to express our deepest sympathy for the tragic, untimely death of Michael Burke, the husband of Fiona Barrett and father of Arron Burke. Michael's removal will take place tomorrow evening, Tuesday at 7pm from Hydes in Midleton with the funeral at 2pm on Wednesday. As a mark of respect to the family, Mr McSweeney has cancelled all classes on Wednesday.  |
